November 23rd, 2009 09 Cards

2009 Card project has been going well so far with boxes of cards being shipped out to USA and today another box makes its way to Blighty.

This year's designs include some tropical themes, with elephants baring gifts , over loaded festive tuk tuks and of course the classic Christmas tortoise…

If you are after cards please order early as early as possible as we need abit of time to put them together

November 10th, 2009 Card Project artwork featuring on its own tea brand

Tealightful Treasures is a brand of tea and scones in the USA. And they’ve recently launched a range of Ceylon teas featuring artwork created by the children at Sri Jinananda Orphanage during our workshops.

And 10% of the profit is coming straight back to the home. So thanks Tealightful. Save us a cup.

November 10th, 2009 Colombo Academy of Design on the team

We’ve now got Colombo’s Academy of Design helping us out with this year’s cards.

They’ll be designing the cards and then we’ll stick the children’s drawings onto them. So thanks to everyone at the academy who’s helping out.

November 9th, 2009 We have a brand new site

Hello to all our loyal supporters!

This is just to say that we have a brand new site – this one! We hope you like it. You can of course buy cards on it. So don’t hesitate!
